(DALIANNEWS)- A semiconductor material base invested by a local chemistry firm is under construction currently with 10 square meters land requisitioned at the Huayuankou Industrial Park in Dalian, Dalian Daily reported Thursday.

Dalian- based Kelide Chemical Industry Corp. will do the R&D on pure ECD gas which is key to the capability of the chip.

The base, which is claimed the biggest one of its kind across the nation upon completition late this year, will be raw material producer for semiconductor firms such as Intel.
